This Personal Injury Paralegal Position Features:
•The Paralegal will assist attorneys in all phases of case development, from intake through resolution. This includes drafting legal documents, managing case files, conducting legal research, and communicating with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and file legal documents including complaints, motions, discovery requests/responses, and foreclosure pleadings.
Assist with case intake, client interviews, and gathering of medical records and other evidence.
Draft demand letters, settlement agreements, and correspondence.
Maintain and organize case files, calendars, and deadlines.
Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorney review.
Coordinate with medical providers, insurance companies, and court personnel.
Support attorneys during trial preparation and hearings.
Monitor foreclosure timelines and ensure compliance with court procedures and deadlines.
Qualifications
Associate degree or Paralegal Certificate required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on personal injury and/or foreclosure law.
Strong knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and litigation processes.
Proficiency in legal software (e.g., Clio, MyCase, or similar case management systems).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
