We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Payroll & Accounting Assistant to support our accounting team and daily payroll operations. This role is ideal for someone organized, proactive, and comfortable assisting with administrative, payroll, and accounting-related tasks. Previous accounting experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Print employee timecards and prepare payroll documents
Deliver paychecks and related payroll forms to managers
Assist managers by providing payroll forms for review and auditing hours
Generate and distribute PTO reports
Support internal audits by preparing and organizing documentation
Perform general office tasks, including copying, running errands, and mail pickup
Assist the accounting department as needed with routine tasks
Qualifications & Skills
Experience with payroll processing preferred; familiarity with ADP Workforce Now is ideal
Basic understanding of accounting principles a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Reliable, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks
Professional and discreet handling of confidential information
