We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Tax Specialist to assist our payroll team on a short-term project. This is a great opportunity for someone with payroll tax knowledge to contribute their expertise, ensure compliance across multiple states, and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Review and verify payroll tax filings for all 48 states.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with state and local tax requirements.
Assist in setting up new local taxes as needed.
Support payroll team with tax-related inquiries and documentation.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of payroll tax processes; multi-state experience strongly preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Previous experience with payroll systems or tax compliance is a plus.
