The Payroll Specialist will play an important role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while supporting compliance, documentation, and payroll-related inquiries. Key Responsibilities
- Process weekly, biweekly, or semi-monthly payroll accurately and on schedule.
- Review timesheets, attendance records, payroll adjustments, deductions, benefits, and employee changes for accuracy.
- Enter, update, and maintain employee payroll information in payroll systems.
- Research payroll discrepancies and respond professionally to employee payroll questions.
- Maintain accurate payroll files, records, reports, and documentation for audits and compliance needs.
- Collaborate with HR, accounting, and internal teams to support payroll-related processes.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $55,000 to $65,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Process payroll accurately and on time for assigned pay cycles.
- Maintain employee payroll data, records, deductions, benefits, and payroll-related updates.
- Review timesheets, attendance records, and payroll adjustments for accuracy.
- Support payroll reporting, compliance documentation, audits, and employee inquiries.
- Payroll processing experience required, with candidates in the 6-10 year experience range strongly encouraged to apply.
- Experience maintaining confidential employee and payroll information with professionalism.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to work effectively with HR, accounting, and cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, Paylocity, UKG, or similar platforms.
- Prior experience in accounting, auditing, HR payroll support, or a related professional services environment.
- Experience supporting payroll audits, compliance reporting, and payroll documentation.
- Strong ability to identify payroll discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently.
