Salary: $19.00 - $24.00/hour (DOE)

Job Summary:

As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, benefits coordination, and HR reporting. Your attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information will contribute to the success of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Process weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and
timeliness.
Audit and verify timecards, resolving discrepancies with supervisors and managers.
Manage garnishment orders, including child support and levies.
Address employee payroll and benefits inquiries promptly.
Update and maintain employee information in the payroll system.
Process advance, termination, and out-of-cycle payments.
Prepare and transmit 401K contributions weekly.
Generate payroll reports, journal entries, and spreadsheets.
Assist with benefits open enrollment and related tasks.
Maintain HR and payroll documentation with confidentiality.
Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of payroll or HR-related experience, or equivalent education and training.
Proficiency in accounting principles, payroll practices, and HR processes.
Experience with payroll software (iSolved preferred).
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Requires motor coordination and finger dexterity for tasks such as keyboarding and writing.
