Position: Payroll Specialist
Location: Fresno, CA
Pay: Up to $25/hour (DOE)

Duties and Responsibilities:
In this role you will be managing weekly payroll processing with a focus on accuracy and timeliness, including reviewing and auditing timecards and partnering with managers to resolve discrepancies. Oversee garnishments, employee data updates, and special payments such as advances and terminations. Respond promptly to employee payroll inquiries and ensure compliance with reporting deadlines, including month-end close, journal entries, and 401(k) processing. Distribute payroll, maintain organized HR/payroll records, and support benefits open enrollment. Track attendance, handle administrative tasks, and safeguard confidential information while assisting with additional duties as needed.

Qualifications | What We’re Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Human Resources or a related field is a plus. At least 2 years of payroll experience. Familiarity with accounting fundamentals, HR practices, and payroll systems, with experience using payroll software. Strong communication, interpersonal, organization, and time management skills. Spanish bilingual ability is preferred.
