Payroll Specialist
Type: Full-Time

Pay Rate: $40-$50/hr
About the Role: The ideal candidate is organized, discreet, and comfortable handling confidential information while juggling multiple priorities. This position works closely with HR leadership and supports employees across the organization, ensuring policies, programs, and systems are administered accurately and consistently.
Payroll Support
Stay current on federal and state payroll-related regulations
Assist the Payroll Manager as needed
Conduct internal payroll audits
Support ACA compliance, including auditing data and preparing 1095-C documentation
Qualifications:
Minimum 3+ years of Human Resources experience, including union payroll
Prior experience with compensation and benefits administration required
Working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now (WFN) required
Broad knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion and sound judgment
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
