Payroll Specialist – Redmond, WA (100% Onsite)
Full time | Open to WA State Residents Only
We are looking for a detail-oriented, accuracy-driven Payroll Specialist to support payroll operations for a busy Redmond team. This 100% onsite role is ideal for someone who works with precision, communicates clearly, and ensures payroll is processed correctly and on time every cycle.
What You Will Do:
Review timesheets, hours worked, and pay adjustments for accuracy
Process payroll, including wages, overtime, deductions, and garnishments
Maintain and update payroll records, including new hires, transfers, and terminations
Verify attendance, leave balances, and time-off requests
Prepare and distribute paychecks and earnings statements
Identify and reconcile payroll discrepancies
Compile payroll data from timecards, timekeeping systems, and internal records
Issue and record adjustments for retro pay, corrections, or prior-period changes
Assist with payroll reporting and compliance requirements
Respond to employee payroll inquiries with clarity and professionalism
What You Bring:
Experience in payroll processing or a related accounting/HR support role
Strong attention to detail and comfort working with confidential information
Knowledge of payroll laws, wage calculations, and standard payroll practices
Proficiency with payroll software (ADP, Paychex, or similar)
Strong Excel skills and comfort working with data
Familiarity with timekeeping systems and HRIS platforms
Clear, professional communication skills
Ability to work onsite in Redmond, WA (WA residents only)
