Payroll Specialist (Direct Hire)

Responsibilities:
Process weekly payroll accurately and on schedule for a midsize-large company
Maintain payroll records, employee data, and timekeeping systems
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and medical payroll regulations
Manage payroll deductions, benefits, garnishments, and tax withholdings
Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries
Prepare payroll reports and assist with audits
Collaborate with HR and Accounting teams
Qualifications:
Must have 3+ years of payroll experience required
Medical or healthcare payroll experience preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Degree preferred (Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field)
Proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Excel
