We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our growing fun team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll processing best practices and possess excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. This role will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of employee payrolls, including but not limited to: Responsibilities: Process bi-weekly/semi-monthly payroll for all employees, including hourly, salaried, and commissioned employees. Calculate and process all payroll taxes, including federal, state, and local taxes. Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files, timecards, and benefit information. Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, 401(k), and other voluntary benefits. Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits. Conduct regular audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance. Prepare and file all required government reports, including W-2s, 1099s, and unemployment claims. Assist with year-end payroll tax filings. Maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local labor laws. Research and implement best practices in payroll processing. Assist with special projects as needed. Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations. Experience with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Etc.) is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word). Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
