Job Description:
AppleOne has partnered with a well-established senior living community in Claremont that is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Clerk to join their team on a part-time basis to cover a leave of absence, with the possibility of becoming a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

This role will be responsible for processing payroll for approximately 200 employees using Paycom software. The ideal candidate will have prior payroll processing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive employee information with confidentiality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

Process payroll for approximately 200 employees using Paycom
Review and verify employee timecards, payroll data, and deductions for accuracy
Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with company policies and payroll regulations
Assist with resolving payroll discrepancies and employee payroll inquiries
Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing deadlines are met
Maintain confidentiality of payroll and employee information
Support HR and accounting departments with payroll-related tasks as needed

Qualifications:

Previous payroll processing experience required
Experience with Paycom software strongly preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
