Payroll Associate – Oxnard, CA

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Associate to join our team in Oxnard. This role is a key part of our HR department but will focus exclusively on payroll. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of direct payroll experience, with preference given to those with ADP experience.

Schedule & Compensation

Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (in-office)

Hybrid option available after 6 months (up to 50% remote)

Pay range: $26.90 – $30.13/hour

Key Responsibilities

Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll for employees and volunteers

Calculate wages, overtime, taxes, deductions, and adjustments

Maintain payroll records and resolve discrepancies

Generate, audit, and distribute payroll and accrual reports

Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies

Support payroll-related audits and reporting

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years payroll processing experience (ADP strongly preferred)

Strong Excel skills and attention to detail

Knowledge of wage and hour laws

Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines

HR or Payroll certification a plus
