We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to manage all aspects of bi-weekly payroll for approximately 300 employees. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, accurate, and able to handle multiple priorities while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Training will be provided on specific cloud-based payroll system.
Key Responsibilities:
Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 300 employees
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records across multiple store locations
Prepare and submit state new-hire reports
File payroll taxes and quarterly payroll tax returns
Prepare and file annual federal and state reports, including W-2s
File bi-weekly workers’ compensation reports and coordinate annual workers’ compensation audits
Support special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
Previous experience in payroll administration and accounting needed
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Familiarity with payroll systems needed; training on Cloud Based Payroll System will be provided
Schedule: Full-time, on-site, Monday–Friday
