Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of payroll processes, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and timely payment
- Maintain payroll records and documentation in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Calculate wages, deductions, benefits, and overtime payments
- Assist employees with payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare payroll reports for management and assist with audits
- Stay up to date with changes in labor laws and tax regulations
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams for efficient payroll operations
Qualifications:
- Associate's (required) or Bachelor's (preferred) degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2-3 years of previous experience in payroll processing or related accounting work and knowledge of HR
- Proficiency in payroll software such as ADP and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
