Office & Payroll Administrator
**About the Role**
We are seeking a **detail-oriented Office & Payroll Administrator** to handle payroll processing, office operations, and tax preparation support. This role ensures smooth company administration while maintaining accurate financial records.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Payroll Administration:**
- Process payroll for approx. 40 clients, including taxes, vacation/sick leave, Simple IRA, and minimum wage compliance.
- Assist with quarterly & annual tax returns, research notices, and workers' compensation reports.
- Manage payroll client communication and retirement plan contributions.
**Office Administration:**
- Oversee daily company operations and serve as the point of contact for emails, phone calls, and inquiries.
- Perform bookkeeping tasks, maintain financial records, and handle invoices.
- Organize and manage company records physically and digitally.
- Greet visitors and ensure a professional front office environment.
**Tax Preparation Support:**
- Provide administrative assistance for tax filings, including word processing, document formatting, and finalizing tax returns.
- Maintain both digital and physical client files.
- Update and manage client information using CCH Practice Management tools.
**Qualifications:**
- Proficient in **MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.)** and **QuickBooks Software**.
- Strong ability to prepare professional business correspondences.
- Comfortable learning new software and workflows.
- Familiarity with accounting terminology or willingness to learn.
