Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Payroll & Accounting Administrator for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Fort Collins, CO. Key Responsibilities

- Process weekly or biweekly payroll accurately and on time, including related reporting, employee records, and timekeeping support.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice entry, payments, receipts, vendor payments, and collections support.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, and accounting transactions to maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist with billing, accounting reports, employee records, and general office administration.
- Communicate professionally with employees, vendors, clients, subcontractors, and management.
- Support day-to-day accounting and administrative needs while maintaining organized and confidential records.

Compensation and Benefits

- $25 to $30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Temp-to-hire opportunity.



Required Qualifications and Skills

- Process payroll and maintain accurate payroll-related records.
- Manage AP, AR, invoice entry, payments, receipts, reconciliations, and accounting transactions.
- Support billing, collections, vendor payments, and accounting reporting.
- Handle general office administration and confidential employee information.

- 2+ years of accounting and payroll experience.
- Strong QuickBooks experience.
- Experience with Paylocity and/or ADP.
- Working knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and time management.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
- Professional communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with employees, vendors, clients, and subcontractors.
- Ability to handle confidential payroll, accounting, and employee information with discretion.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in construction, engineering, contracting, or a related industry.
- Background supporting payroll and accounting in a fast-paced, project-based environment.
- Experience working with subcontractors, vendors, billing, collections, or job-related accounting processes.
