We are seeking a detail-oriented Payment Processing Clerk for an on-site temp-to-hire opportunity in Shoreview, MN. This role supports financial services operations by processing paper checks, scanning documents, preparing operational data, and assisting with department workflow.

Key Responsibilities
- Process paper checks and related payment documents with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Scan, organize, and prepare documents for automated data processing and internal recordkeeping.
- Collect operational data and assist with preparing related reports and input forms.
- Use internal operations systems to complete daily processing tasks and support department workflow.
- Furnish information to authorized individuals while following established procedures and confidentiality standards.
- Coordinate assigned projects and provide operational support to team members as needed.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM or until work is completed.
- Work Arrangement: On site at 1801 Park View Dr, Shoreview, MN 55126.
- Contract Type: 3-month contract with possible extension and potential conversion for the right candidate.
- Process paper checks, payment documents, and related operational forms.
- Scan and prepare documents for automated processing systems.
- Collect data and support operational reporting.
- Use internal systems to complete service center or department support tasks.
- 1 or more years of operations support experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain accuracy in a high-volume processing environment.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
- Comfortable working with internal systems, data entry, document scanning, and operational reports.
- Ability to handle confidential information and provide information only to authorized individuals.
- Professional communication skills and ability to work effectively with team members at multiple levels.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience processing checks, payments, or money-related documents.
- Experience in financial services, banking operations, lockbox operations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or payment processing.
- Familiarity with document scanning, imaging, or automated data processing workflows.
- Ability to work efficiently in an early morning schedule and remain flexible until daily work is completed.
