Key Responsibilities
- Provide customer support to members by phone, email, live chat, and messaging platforms.
- Assist with appointment scheduling, healthcare navigation, benefits questions, and account support.
- Make outbound calls to members and healthcare providers to coordinate care and resolve service needs.
- Document customer interactions accurately in internal systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
- Resolve customer concerns with empathy, professionalism, and a focus on first-contact resolution.
- Manage multiple cases while meeting quality, productivity, and service expectations.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $22.00 per hour.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Full-time schedule: 40 hours per week.
- Start date: September 28.
- Training: 8 weeks of fully paid training.
- Training schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:30 PM.
- Training attendance: 100% attendance is required.
- Training work arrangement: Hybrid, with Monday-Wednesday onsite and Thursday-Friday remote.
- Work arrangement after training: Hybrid schedule.
- Post-training schedule option 1: Monday-Friday, five 8-hour shifts.
- Post-training schedule option 2: Four 9-hour weekday shifts plus one 4-hour weekend shift on Saturday or Sunday, with one weekday and one weekend day off.
- Shifts may be opening, mid, or closing based on business needs.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Support members with healthcare benefits, appointments, account questions, and service concerns.
- Handle inbound and outbound communication across phone, email, chat, and messaging channels.
- Accurately document cases, protect confidential information, and follow HIPAA requirements.
- Meet quality, productivity, and customer experience goals in a fast-paced support environment.
- 1-2 years of customer service experience required, preferably in healthcare, wellness, medical billing, or claims.
- Strong communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable using multiple computer systems, internal platforms, and digital communication tools.
- Excellent organization, multitasking ability, and attention to detail.
- Positive, professional, customer-first attitude with the ability to de-escalate concerns.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow compliance requirements.
- Ability to commit to 100% attendance during the 8-week training program.
- Must successfully complete a criminal background check, employment verification, education verification, and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications
- Medical office experience.
- Experience with Salesforce, Google Workspace, or other CRM systems.
- Bilingual Spanish communication skills, spoken and written.
- Prior experience supporting healthcare members, patients, providers, or benefits-related inquiries.
