We are seeking a Patient Services Representative for a contract/temporary opportunity in Los Angeles, CA. Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients, visitors, and callers in a professional, courteous, and patient-focused manner.
- Schedule appointments, verify patient information, and update records accurately within healthcare systems.
- Support patient check-in and check-out processes, including registration, documentation, and general administrative coordination.
- Communicate with clinical staff, providers, and internal departments to help ensure smooth patient flow and timely service.
- Respond to patient inquiries, route calls appropriately, and provide general information while maintaining confidentiality.
- Maintain organized front-office workflows and support compliance with healthcare policies, privacy standards, and service expectations.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range: $49,920 to $56,160 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Coordinate patient communication and assist with appointment-related needs.
- Maintain accurate patient records and administrative documentation.
- Partner with healthcare staff to support efficient patient services operations.
- 3-5 years of experience in a patient services, medical office, healthcare administration, or related healthcare support role.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients and care teams.
- Familiarity with patient registration, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, or medical office workflows.
- Ability to handle confidential patient information with professionalism and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy healthcare environment.
- Proficiency with standard office technology and the ability to learn healthcare systems or electronic medical record platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospital, clinic, specialty practice, or healthcare services setting.
- Familiarity with electronic health records, patient scheduling systems, or medical billing terminology.
- Bilingual communication skills may be helpful in supporting diverse patient populations in the Los Angeles area.
- A patient-centered approach, positive attitude, and ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
