A growing healthcare services team in Sandy, UT is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator II for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a customer service professional who enjoys helping patients, members, and customers resolve questions, navigate healthcare services, and receive a positive support experience.
As a Patient Services Coordinator II, you will serve as a trusted point of contact for healthcare-related support by phone, email, and chat. You will assist with appointments, insurance eligibility, care center information, technical questions, and medical order processing while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional customer and technical support to patients, members, and customers by phone, email, and chat.
- Assist with appointment questions, insurance eligibility, care center information, service navigation, and general healthcare support needs.
- Process medical orders and verify that required information is accurate, complete, and properly documented.
- Troubleshoot customer questions or technical issues and follow through to resolution.
- Document customer interactions, updates, and outcomes accurately in company systems.
- Collaborate with care centers and internal teams while protecting confidential information and following HIPAA requirements.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $20 to $22 per hour.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Training (Paid): 3 to 4 weeks of full-time onsite training in Sandy, UT beginning November 2, 2026.
- Interviews begin the week of October 5, 2026.
- Support patients, members, and customers through inbound service channels.
- Troubleshoot questions, technical issues, and healthcare service concerns.
- Process and document medical orders with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Coordinate with internal teams and care centers to support timely resolution.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant customer service, call center, patient support, or client care experience.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain information clearly and professionally.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm and focused throughout the day.
- Comfortable using computers, multiple systems, headsets, cameras, and standard office equipment.
- Strong attention to detail with accurate documentation and follow-up skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive medical information while maintaining confidentiality and following HIPAA requirements.
- Reliable attendance and availability to work a full-time schedule.
- Ability to complete 3 to 4 weeks of onsite training in Sandy, UT beginning November 2, 2026.
- Ability to participate on camera for designated meetings, training, and coaching sessions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a healthcare services, patient services, medical call center, or insurance support environment.
- Experience processing medical orders or working with appointment scheduling, eligibility, care center information, or healthcare navigation.
- Familiarity with HIPAA requirements and handling confidential patient or member information.
