Ortho Fitter – Direct Patient Care
Location: Shreveport–Bossier Area
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM | On-Call Rotation Every 4–5 Weeks
Pay: Starting at $15/hour + Full Benefits

About the Role:
Are you a Medical Assistant or direct-care professional looking to move into a specialized, hands-on role? Join a growing healthcare team and receive paid training in orthotics and cranial remolding. This position is ideal for someone professional, reliable, and eager to learn who wants a long-term career in a niche healthcare specialty.

What You’ll Do:

Provide direct patient care in a clinical setting
Train in cranial remolding, working closely with infants and families
Cross-train as an Ortho Fitter, assisting patients with orthopedic braces and devices
Participate in an on-call rotation every 4–5 weeks for hospital calls
Make device adjustments using basic hand tools (training provided)
Document visits and update patient records using basic computer skills


What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 2 years of office or medical experience (MA, CNA, tech preferred)
Professional demeanor, reliability, and a positive attitude
Strong desire to learn and grow in a specialized healthcare field
Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn hands-on skills
Prior DME/orthotics experience is a plus but not required
