Required Qualifications and Skills
- Support daily clinic operations by assisting providers with patient care and documentation.
- Maintain accurate medical records and help ensure an efficient patient care workflow.
- Prepare rooms, equipment, and supplies while following infection control standards.
- Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and team members.
- Certified Medical Assistant credential required.
- Minimum of 2 years of direct care experience in a clinic setting required.
- Experience obtaining vital signs, documenting patient information, and supporting exams or procedures.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and basic clinic administrative processes.
- Strong attention to detail, dependability, professionalism, and patient-focused communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical office environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in pediatric, infant, family practice, or primary care clinic settings.
- Experience with phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, referrals, prior authorizations, or prescription request processing.
- Strong multitasking skills and the ability to support both clinical and administrative duties.
