Job Title: Patient Access Specialist – Specialty Pharmacy
Location: Maitland, FL 32751 (Hybrid after permanent hire)
Schedule: Temp-to-Perm, M-F 11am–8pm | Training M-F 8:30am–4:30pm (paid lunch)
Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, dependable Patient Access Specialist to join our Specialty Pharmacy team. This temp-to-perm role focuses on accurate data entry, patient account management, and overflow customer service support**. Hybrid work is available after 4 months.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately create and update patient accounts and cases
Assist with overflow customer service tasks across departments
Update account information based on medical biller input
Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail
Qualifications & Skills:
Prior experience with prior authorizations and medical insurance (Medicaid, Medicare, Commercial)
Strong data entry, multi-tasking, and time management skills
Background in specialty pharmacy, healthcare, or customer service
Proficient in Microsoft Office, email, and web-based applications
Dependable, coachable, and able to manage high-pressure, time-sensitive tasks
Preferred Experience:
Experience with databases or CRM systems
Understanding of challenges faced by patients with medical conditions
