Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Pay: $21/hr - weekly pay
Type: Temp-to-Perm (Hybrid option after 4 months)
Start Date: January 2026
Training: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm

Monday–Friday, 10:00am–7:00pm
Monday–Friday, 10:30am–7:30pm

What You’ll Do
As a Patient Access Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting patients, providers, and internal teams by ensuring accurate information and seamless communication.
Your responsibilities include:
Accurately entering data to create, update, and maintain patient accounts and cases
Supporting overflow patient/customer service needs across multiple teams
Updating account details based on input from medical billers and clinical staff
Ensuring precision and completeness in all documentation
Managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while keeping patient care at the center

Required:
Previous experience with prior authorizations
Working knowledge of medical insurance, including Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial payers
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong, accurate data entry abilities
Experience in specialty pharmacy or a healthcare-related customer service role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email platforms, web-based systems, and CRM/databases
Ability to stay calm, organized, and resourceful in time-sensitive situations
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Dependability, strong work ethic, and willingness to receive and apply feedback
Ability to multitask and manage workload effectively in a high-volume environment
Preferred Experience:
Healthcare or pharmaceutical industry background
Familiarity with patient challenges related to chronic or complex medical conditions
