Seeking a Part-Time Payroll Bookkeeper & Billing Specialist for a dynamic organization

This is a hybrid opportunity with an estimated 1 day in office, as needed

Pay Rate: $30–$35/hr. (DOE)
Location: Hybrid – Los Angeles, CA 90043
Duration: 3–6 months
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 20 hours per week, 10am-2pm


Position Overview
This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional with strong payroll expertise and the ability to manage bookkeeping functions independently. The selected candidate will oversee payroll processing, accounts payable, financial reporting, and compliance responsibilities.

Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of responsible accounting/bookkeeping experience including AP, AR, payroll, general ledger, and financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks, ADP Payroll, and Google Sheets is a must
• Solid understanding of payroll compliance, tax regulations, and GAAP

Key Responsibilities
Payroll Duties:
• Process payroll through ADP
• Manage onboarding paperwork, benefits, and payroll compliance
• Serve as main point of contact for ADP, Kaiser, and employee payroll/benefits inquiries
• Maintain accurate employee records, timesheets, and pay schedules
• Ensure timely payroll tax filings, W-2s, 1099s, and year-end reporting

Accounts Payable Duties:
• Ensure all standing monthly bills are paid on time

Bookkeeping Duties:
• Code payables and input into QuickBooks
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements
• Produce financial reports (Cash Flow, Profit & Loss, Balance Sheets)
