Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper with strong Accounts Payable experience for a direct hire opportunity in West Los Angeles, CA. Key Responsibilities

- Manage accounts payable functions, including invoice processing, transaction verification, coding, and payment preparation.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, vendor accounts, and general account activity to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
- Prepare and process employee expense reports and reimbursements.
- Maintain accurate financial records and support clean, organized documentation for accounting files.
- Handle sensitive financial information with professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.

Compensation and Benefits

- Compensation: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour.
- Schedule: Part-time, 2 days per week.
- Hours: 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM PST.
- Work Arrangement: Onsite in West Los Angeles, CA.
- Location Requirement: Must live within 20 miles of the West Los Angeles office, ZIP code 90025.
- Employment Type: Direct hire.
- This is a part-time position only. Full-time availability is not available for this role.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice review, payment processing, and vendor account support.
- Perform account reconciliations for bank statements, credit cards, vendor activity, and related financial records.
- Prepare employee expense reports and reimbursement documentation.
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and support timely financial administration.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable and account reconciliation.
- Experience with bookkeeping, financial recordkeeping, and general accounting support.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
- Solid understanding of accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, payment processing, and reconciliation.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial documentation.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion.
- Must live within 20 miles of ZIP code 90025 and be available to work onsite in West Los Angeles.
- Must be available for a part-time schedule of 2 days per week, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM PST.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in real estate, property management, or a related service-based business environment.
- Prior experience supporting vendor-heavy accounts payable processes.
- Familiarity with maintaining organized accounting records for audit readiness and internal review.
