Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Paraplanner with a required Series 7 license to support financial advisors in a direct hire opportunity in Walnut Creek, CA. Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct paraplanning and administrative support to one or more financial advisors.
- Assist with client service needs related to tax, retirement, investment, and wealth management planning.
- Conduct online research, prepare presentations, develop portfolios, and support planning deliverables.
- Set up new client accounts, record investment trades, and ensure accurate documentation.
- Prepare Excel spreadsheets, performance reports, and client-facing materials.
- Follow up with clients and internal partners to ensure timely, accurate completion of requests.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $85,000 to $100,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Support financial advisors with client planning, account setup, investment trade documentation, and client follow-up.
- Prepare presentations, portfolios, spreadsheets, performance reports, and related planning materials.
- Conduct online research and assist with tax, retirement, investment, and wealth management support.
- Maintain accurate records and deliver highly detailed advisor and client support.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Series 7 license required.
- 3+ years of financial services industry experience required.
- Strong Excel skills, including spreadsheet preparation and reporting.
- Experience preparing client presentations, portfolios, and performance data reports.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Professional communication skills and the ability to work directly with advisors, partners, and clients.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a client-focused financial planning environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Series 66 license preferred.
- California Life and Health license preferred.
- Fully licensed candidates are preferred.
- Brokerage firm or retail brokerage experience preferred.
- Prior paraplanning, advisor support, wealth management, or financial planning support experience preferred.
