A legal services organization in Orlando, FL is seeking an experienced Paralegal with Litigation to support a busy Business Litigation department. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a highly organized litigation paralegal who is comfortable managing complex case materials, coordinating discovery, supporting trial preparation, and working closely with attorneys in a professional in-office environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare deposition, trial, and records subpoenas in compliance with Florida and federal regulations.
- Coordinate third-party records production, review and summarize records, and organize discovery materials.
- Analyze, review, and manage documents and data produced by clients and opposing parties during discovery.
- Assist with drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests, discovery responses, submissions, and related litigation documents.
- Maintain litigation calendars for assigned attorneys, including deadlines, hearings, conferences, and key case milestones.
- Conduct legal and factual research using Lexis, PACER, Accurint, Secretary of State databases, and social media resources.

Compensation and Benefits

- Compensation: $80,000 to $90,000 per year.
- Job Type: Direct hire.
- Work Arrangement: In office, no remote work.
- Ability to work extra hours as needed is required.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Support attorneys through all phases of business litigation, including discovery, motion practice, hearings, and trial preparation.
- Manage case documents, subpoenas, records production, discovery materials, and litigation calendars.
- Draft, review, and organize litigation documents, pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and discovery responses.
- Conduct legal and factual research to support case development and litigation strategy.

- 6 to 10 years of litigation paralegal experience.
- Strong knowledge of Florida and federal litigation procedures, deadlines, and subpoena requirements.
- Experience preparing subpoenas, managing discovery, summarizing records, and organizing case materials.
- Proficiency with legal research and case information tools such as Lexis, PACER, Accurint, Secretary of State databases, and social media research.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, follow-through, and deadline management skills.
- Professional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with attorneys, legal staff, clients, and outside parties.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, in-office legal environment and adjust to changing litigation priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting business litigation, commercial litigation, or complex civil litigation matters.
- Trial preparation experience, including exhibit organization, witness materials, subpoenas, and attorney support.
- Familiarity with electronic document management, discovery review processes, or litigation support tools.
- Prior experience working in a law firm or professional legal services environment.
