We are a dynamic plaintiff-side employment law firm dedicated to advocating for workers' rights. Our team is passionate about justice and committed to delivering high-quality legal representation. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to join our team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Employment Law is a plus, but not required
Paralegal Certification or Associate/Bachelor’s Degree is required
Key Responsibilities:
Proofread legal documents for accuracy, formatting, grammar, and punctuation
Prepare Tables of Contents (TOCs), Tables of Authorities (TOAs), and Proofs of Service
File documents with courts and manage digital and physical case files
Maintain calendaring system and send reminders for deadlines and appointments
Draft correspondence and communicate with clients and class members
Answer and route incoming phone calls
Conduct detailed intakes with potential clients
Coordinate meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements for attorneys
Perform data analysis and assist with logistics for mediations and oral arguments
Liaise with couriers, court reporters, videographers, and other service providers
Occasionally run errands, file documents, and perform courier tasks (must have a car and valid driver’s license)
Skills & Abilities:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong proofreading and organizational abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines under pressure
Calm, articulate, and resourceful in dynamic situations
Willingness to work occasional overtime
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
Visual acuity sufficient for detailed document review
