Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal with experience or strong interest in family law. The ideal candidate will be a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about helping clients navigate legal matters with care and confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft and file legal documents including petitions, motions, declarations, and discovery responses
Manage case files and maintain accurate documentation
Coordinate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
Assist attorneys with trial preparation and hearing logistics
Conduct legal research and summarize findings
Maintain calendars and track deadlines
Qualifications:
2+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in family law
Strong knowledge of California family law procedures (or applicable state)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Proficient in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
Paralegal certificate or equivalent education preferred
