Candidates should be familiar with analyzing claim files and records, preparing for hearings, preparing exhibits, pleadings, and discovery, handling case management, file organization, investigations, research and trial support and have knowledge in litigation software programs. Pay is commensurate with skills and years of experience. Essential Functions: · Reviews, organizes and summarizes reports and other case materials. · Prepares routine or complex legal documents for review by attorneys. · Drafts pleadings, subpoenas, discovery requests and responses, correspondence, interrogatories/answers, post-judgment pleadings (abstracts, writs, levying and appeals) · Assists in deposition preparation, pre-trial investigations, trial preparation, including assistance with preparation of witnesses for deposition and/or trial. · Prepares depositions and trial binders. · Prepare exhibits and other demonstrative evidence for use at trial. · Provide assistance at mediation, arbitration and trial – including knowledge of courtroom technology setup, deposition clip editing, real time, trial director Skills: · Proficiency with Microsoft suites – Word, Excel, PowerPoint · Knowledge of iManage and Trial Director are a plus · Knowledge of e-discovery databases (CS Disco) · Knowledge regarding bate stamping and redacting · The ability and experience to conduct proper research on WestLaw Job Type: Full-time Benefits: License/Certification: Work Location: In person
