Paralegal – Litigation Defense & Product Liability

Position Overview We are hiring an experienced Paralegal for our client’s Litigation Defense and Product Liability practice group in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a full-time, on-site/hybrid role supporting plaintiff-side personal injury and product liability matters. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented senior paralegal who excels in medical records analysis, case management, and trial preparation in complex civil litigation.

Must-Have Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of solid experience as a litigation paralegal supporting complex civil litigation.
Strong medical records experience — ordering, reviewing, analyzing, and summarizing medical records, billing statements, liens, and preparing medical chronologies/specials summaries.
Experience with state and federal courts, including CM/ECF electronic filing.
Excellent organizational skills and proven ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (professional client and attorney-facing presence).
Team player with a proactive, forward-thinking mindset.

Strongly Preferred / Nice-to-Have
Hands-on experience with Everlaw and/or Relativity.
Experience with iManage and Prolaw (big plus).
Paralegal Certificate.
Direct experience in personal injury or product liability matters (plaintiff or defense).
Trial and deposition preparation experience (witness binders, exhibits, coordination).

Ideal Candidate Profile
5–10+ years of litigation paralegal experience.
Proven track record managing full case lifecycles in high-volume or complex matters.
Technically savvy with litigation support tools.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Pittsburgh-based or willing to relocate (local candidates strongly preferred).
