Firm is a small, highly respected Orlando firm focused on property rights, real estate litigation, and eminent domain matters. With only four team members in the office, this is a close-knit, supportive environment where your contributions truly matter.

You’ll be working alongside an experienced paralegal who will provide hands-on training. The attorney is known for being supportive, respectful, and genuinely kind to staff — a professional who values strong work ethic, loyalty, and excellent work product.

What They’re Looking For
This is a Paralegal / Legal Secretary hybrid role ideal for someone with strong litigation experience. While property rights and eminent domain experience is a plus, the firm is happy to train the right candidate on the practice area.

The ideal candidate is:

A strong typist comfortable taking dictation
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Proactive and able to anticipate attorney needs
Professional, compassionate, and calm under pressure
Comfortable working independently in a small office setting

Key Responsibilities
Draft motions, orders, discovery requests, and discovery responses
Prepare production requests and litigation documents
Calendaring and deadline management
Fielding client calls and correspondence
Entering weekly attorney time records
Linking documents and emails in case management system
Assisting with trust accounting procedures (Florida Bar knowledge a plus)
Attending client meetings, depositions, hearings, and trials

Qualifications
Strong litigation background required
Experience with MS Office (especially advanced formatting skills)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
Experience in eminent domain is a plus
Knowledge of Florida Bar trust accounting procedures is a plus
