We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal or Legal Assistant. The ideal candidate will have either a Paralegal Certification or a degree and strong experience supporting attorneys in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Proofread legal documents for accuracy, grammar, and formatting
Prepare TOCs, TOAs, Proofs of Service, and court filings
Organize and manage digital and physical case files
Maintain firm calendaring system and send deadline reminders
Draft correspondence and communicate with clients/class members
Answer and route incoming calls; conduct client intakes
Schedule meetings, manage attorney travel, and coordinate service providers
Assist with data analysis projects and occasional errands (car and valid driver’s license required)
Qualifications:
Paralegal Certification or Associate/Bachelor’s degree (required)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay calm under pressure
Willingness to work occasional overtime and lift up to 25 lbs
