Paralegal – Workers’ Compensation Defense
Location: Rochester, NY
Seeking an experienced detail-oriented and organized paralegal to join our team. With over 30 years of experience, we specialize in NY Workers' Compensation Insurance Defense, Federal Medicare Secondary Payer Act Compliance, Subrogation, and Loss Transfer.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in the preparation of legal documents.
• Act as a liaison between attorneys, clients, and administrative agencies.
• Organize and manage case-related documents.
• Procure and review medical records.
• Support attorneys with hearing and trial preparation.
• Summarize medical records, hearing transcripts, and deposition transcripts.
• Conduct factual research as needed.
Qualifications
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other legal software.
• Paralegal certificate from an ABA-accredited program (preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
