Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Paint Sprayer for a contract manufacturing opportunity in Elk Grove Village, IL. This role is ideal for an experienced industrial paint professional who takes pride in producing clean, consistent, high-quality finishes on metal components.

The Paint Sprayer will join a team-oriented production environment focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

- Prepare metal components for painting by cleaning, masking, sanding, and inspecting surfaces.
- Apply industrial coatings using spray equipment while maintaining consistent coverage and finish quality.
- Mix paints, primers, and coatings according to specifications and production requirements.
- Inspect finished products, perform touch-ups as needed, and ensure customer quality standards are met.
- Clean and maintain spray guns, paint booth equipment, tools, and assigned work areas.
- Move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, or other material handling equipment, with training provided if needed.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $20 to $21 per hour.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary.
- Location: Elk Grove Village, IL.
- Schedule: Ability to work up to 5 days per week, with shifts of up to 10 hours based on production needs.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience as an industrial or manufacturing Paint Sprayer required.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience preferred based on role level.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to lift up to 55 pounds, stand for extended periods, and walk frequently throughout the shift.
- Ability to follow written work instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, dependable, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience painting industrial metal products or fabricated components.
- Forklift experience.
- Basic computer skills.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and basic production documentation.
