Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Packaging Production Associate for a temporary contract opportunity in De Soto, KS. As a Packaging Production Associate, you will support daily production and packaging operations in a regulated setting where accuracy, cleanliness, teamwork, and reliability are essential. Key Responsibilities

- Operate production and packaging equipment, including startup, basic adjustments, and routine quality monitoring.
- Complete accurate documentation of production activities according to established procedures.
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain work areas in accordance with SOPs and safety standards.
- Monitor product quality and escalate issues or equipment concerns as needed.
- Support production goals by assisting with additional tasks as assigned.
- Follow safety, sanitation, and compliance requirements in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $20 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM.
- Job type: Temporary contract.
- Location: De Soto, KS.
- Recruiting and retention bonus: Up to $1,000 total.
- Bonus payout: $250 at 30 days, $250 at 90 days, and $500 at 180 days.
- The bonus is performance and retention based and is designed to reward a successful start, reliability, and continued commitment.



Required Qualifications and Skills

- Operate packaging and production equipment in support of daily manufacturing goals.
- Perform equipment startup, minor adjustments, and quality checks.
- Complete production documentation accurately and on time.
- Clean and sanitize assigned work areas according to SOP requirements.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant production, packaging, manufacturing, or operations experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Basic mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, and analytical skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs intermittently.
- Ability to follow SOPs, production instructions, and regulated process requirements.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work the assigned weekday schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of aseptic techniques.
- Familiarity with USDA regulations, SOPs, and SPPs.
- Previous experience in a regulated manufacturing, packaging, food production, pharmaceutical, or similar production environment.
