Job Summary

We are seeking a Packaging Production Associate for a temporary contract opportunity in Elkhorn, NE. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented production professional who enjoys hands-on work, equipment operation, quality monitoring, and working in a structured manufacturing environment.

As a Packaging Production Associate, you will support day-to-day packaging and production activities while following established GMPs, SOPs, safety procedures, and quality standards. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule with no weekends, a team-oriented environment, and the opportunity to build valuable manufacturing and production experience with supportive leadership and clear expectations.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate packaging and production equipment, including startup, minor adjustments, and routine quality monitoring.
- Follow GMPs, SOPs, safety procedures, and production standards to ensure accurate and compliant work.
- Complete production records, quality documentation, and detailed reports accurately and on time.
- Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment according to established procedures.
- Support production flow in a fast-paced, team-focused packaging environment.
- Perform additional packaging, production, and operational tasks as assigned.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $20 per hour.
- Contract: Temporary.
- Schedule: 12-hour rotating day shifts, 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
- Week 1 schedule: Monday through Wednesday.
- Week 2 schedule: Monday through Thursday.
- No weekends.
- Location: Elkhorn, NE.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Operate production and packaging equipment safely and accurately.
- Monitor product quality and make minor equipment adjustments as needed.
- Complete production and quality documentation in compliance with procedures.
- Maintain clean, organized, and sanitized work areas.

- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to follow GMPs, SOPs, safety procedures, and detailed work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
- Good written communication, verbal communication, and basic computer skills.
- Strong analytical, scientific, and mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented production environment.
- Ability to intermittently lift up to 25 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a related science field strongly preferred.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant manufacturing, packaging, production, or operations experience preferred.
- Previous experience working in a GMP-regulated production environment preferred.
