We are seeking a motivated Packaging Production Associate for a temporary opportunity in De Soto, KS. This role is ideal for candidates with manufacturing, production, packaging, or assembly line experience who enjoy hands-on work in a structured, quality-focused environment.
As a Packaging Production Associate, you will support daily production operations by operating packaging equipment, monitoring product quality, completing documentation, and maintaining clean and safe work areas. Key Responsibilities
- Operate production and packaging equipment, including startup, basic adjustments, and routine monitoring.
- Inspect products and processes to help maintain quality standards and production consistency.
- Complete accurate documentation for production activities, quality checks, and related requirements.
- Clean and sanitize assigned work areas according to standard operating procedures.
- Follow safety, sanitation, and quality guidelines in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Perform additional production support tasks as assigned to meet daily operational goals.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $18 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary.
- Recruiting and retention bonus: Up to $1,000 total.
- $250 at 30 days.
- $250 at 90 days.
- $500 at 180 days.
- Operate packaging and production equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Monitor product quality and production processes throughout the shift.
- Complete accurate production documentation and follow established procedures.
- Support cleaning, sanitation, and production readiness activities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 to 2 years of related production, manufacturing, packaging, assembly, or operations experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, analytical thinking, and troubleshooting skills.
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation and production tracking.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs intermittently.
- Ability to work the assigned Monday through Friday schedule.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques preferred.
- Familiarity with USDA regulations, SOPs, and SPPs is a plus.
- Experience working in a regulated manufacturing, food production, pharmaceutical, or sterile production environment is helpful.
