Key Responsibilities
- Package finished products according to production specifications and quality standards.
- Verify product quantities, labels, lot numbers, and packaging accuracy.
- Operate bagging and packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
- Collect product samples for quality testing when required.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices, safety procedures, housekeeping standards, and sanitation requirements.
- Assist with additional production and general warehouse duties as assigned.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $14.00 per hour.
- Job Type: Contract/Temporary.
- Location: Kansas City, KS.
- Schedule options: 1st Shift, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, or 3rd Shift, 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Package finished products and verify accuracy of labels, quantities, and lot numbers.
- Operate bagging and packaging equipment in a production environment.
- Follow GMP, safety, housekeeping, and sanitation procedures.
- Support quality testing by collecting product samples when required.
- 1 to 2 years of manufacturing, production, packaging, warehouse, or similar experience preferred based on role level.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds throughout the shift.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English.
- Steel-toe boots or safety-toe shoes required.
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance required.
- Must complete required Gatefeed safety training.
- Must follow dress code requirements for orientation and the first day, including safety-toe footwear, jeans or long pants, and a T-shirt or long-sleeve shirt.
- Must comply with production floor policies, including no hats, jewelry, or cell phones on the production floor.
- Hair at shoulder length or longer must be secured and covered with a hairnet.
- Strong attention to detail, dependability, teamwork, and commitment to workplace safety.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience operating packaging, bagging, or production equipment.
- Previous experience in a GMP, food production, agriculture, or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with lot numbers, labeling accuracy, sanitation procedures, and quality checks.
