We are hiring Packaging Operators for immediate contract and temporary opportunities in Kansas City, KS. As a Packaging Operator, you will help support daily production by packaging finished products, checking labels and quantities, operating packaging equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. This Packaging Operator position is ideal for candidates who are ready to work, want to build manufacturing experience, and prefer a structured production setting with consistent schedules and practical training.

Key Responsibilities

- Package finished products according to production specifications and quality standards.
- Verify product quantities, labels, lot numbers, and packaging accuracy.
- Operate bagging and packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
- Collect product samples for quality testing when required.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices, safety procedures, housekeeping standards, and sanitation requirements.
- Assist with additional production and general warehouse duties as assigned.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $14.00 per hour.
- Job Type: Contract/Temporary.
- Location: Kansas City, KS.
- Schedule options: 1st Shift, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, or 3rd Shift, 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Package finished goods accurately in a fast-paced production environment.
- Operate packaging and bagging equipment while following safety procedures.
- Inspect labels, quantities, lot numbers, and packaging details for accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards in the work area.

- Less than 1 year of experience is acceptable.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a production environment.
- Strong attention to detail when checking product, labels, and packaging accuracy.
- Dependable attendance and ability to work the assigned shift consistently.
- Safety-focused mindset and willingness to follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Ability to work in a structured manufacturing or warehouse setting.
- Willingness to complete orientation and required training before starting.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in packaging, production, warehouse, manufacturing, or food and beverage production.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices, sanitation procedures, or quality checks.
- Experience operating basic packaging, bagging, or production equipment.
