We are seeking an experienced Packaging Operator for a 3-month contract opportunity with possible extension in Anaheim, CA. This role is ideal for a dependable manufacturing or production professional with hands-on experience operating filling and packaging equipment in a fast-paced environment.
The Packaging Operator will support daily packaging operations, help ensure finished products are prepared accurately for shipment and sale, and contribute to a safe, organized, and quality-focused production floor. This opportunity offers a team-oriented work setting where attention to detail, reliability, and strong equipment operation skills are valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate filling and packaging equipment according to established production procedures.
- Monitor equipment performance and product flow to support efficient packaging operations.
- Troubleshoot basic equipment or packaging issues and escalate concerns as needed.
- Inspect packaged products for quality, accuracy, labeling, and readiness for shipment.
- Maintain accurate production, packaging, and equipment records.
- Follow safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace procedures at all times.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay Rate: $21 per hour.
- Job Type: 3-month contract with possible extension.
- Location: Anaheim, CA 92807.
- Operate and monitor filling and packaging equipment.
- Perform basic troubleshooting to keep production moving.
- Complete accurate packaging and production records.
- Support product quality, safety, and shipment readiness.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant manufacturing, production, packaging, or equipment operation experience.
- Experience operating packaging, filling, or related production equipment.
- Ability to follow written procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify packaging defects or process issues.
- Dependable work habits and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a production team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a regulated manufacturing, consumer goods, food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or similar packaging environment.
- Experience maintaining production logs, batch records, or equipment documentation.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for identifying and reporting equipment issues.
