Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Packaging Operator for a 12-month contract opportunity in Cleveland, OH. This Packaging Operator role is ideal for a dependable production or warehouse professional who enjoys hands-on work, structured processes, and contributing to daily operational success.

In this role, you will package products and materials according to production schedules, quality standards, SOPs, GMP requirements, and workplace safety guidelines. Key Responsibilities

- Package a wide variety of products and materials by hand according to production schedules, work orders, and quality standards.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, and safety requirements throughout the packaging process.
- Perform visual quality inspections to confirm products are labeled, counted, sorted, and packaged correctly.
- Read and interpret written instructions, diagrams, schedules, and work orders to complete assigned tasks accurately.
- Maintain production and packaging records using Microsoft Office applications and company systems.
- Support warehouse and production operations by organizing materials, maintaining clean work areas, and assisting with material handling.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay Rate: $17 per hour.
- Employment Type: 12-month contract with possible extension.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
- Location: Cleveland, OH 44128.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Package finished products and materials according to production schedules and quality standards.
- Follow SOPs, GMPs, and workplace safety procedures during all packaging activities.
- Perform product inspections, labeling, sorting, counting, and documentation.
- Assist with material handling and general warehouse or production support tasks.

- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in packaging, production, warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or a related hands-on operations role.
- Ability to read and interpret written instructions, diagrams, schedules, and work orders.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office applications and company systems for accurate recordkeeping.
- Good manual dexterity and ability to handle small components and packaging materials efficiently.
- Ability to lift and move products and supplies weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to work in standing and seated positions while maintaining productivity and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Dependable, organized, safety-focused, and able to follow established procedures consistently.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience working in a GMP-regulated, quality-controlled, manufacturing, or production environment.
- Experience with visual quality inspection, inventory accuracy, labeling, and packaging documentation.
- Familiarity with warehouse organization, material handling, and production support activities.
