Job Summary
A Packaging Operator opportunity is available in Sabetha, KS for candidates with manufacturing, production, packaging, or food and beverage production experience. The Packaging Operator is responsible for bagging finished product according to standard operating procedures and facility requirements. This role offers a stable, team-focused work setting with supportive leadership, clear expectations, and the opportunity to build valuable experience in food and beverage production. Candidates who are dependable, safety-minded, and detail-oriented will be well positioned for success.
Key Responsibilities
- Bag finished product according to facility SOPs, production standards, and packaging specifications.
- Safely operate equipment and tools associated with assigned packaging duties.
- Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary work areas through good housekeeping practices.
- Follow standard operating procedures and communicate opportunities for improvement when identified.
- Report unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, food safety concerns, or product integrity issues to appropriate personnel.
- Perform assigned duties efficiently while supporting a respectful and team-oriented production environment.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $15 to $16 per hour.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Package and bag finished product in accordance with SOPs and production requirements.
- Monitor packaging specifications to support product quality and consistency.
- Operate assigned production equipment safely and effectively.
- Communicate safety, food safety, and product integrity concerns to supervisors or management.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in manufacturing, production, operations, packaging, or a related environment preferred.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Understanding of safe work practices in a production or manufacturing setting.
- Dependable, flexible, and able to work respectfully with team members.
- Ability to maintain good housekeeping and support a clean production environment.
- Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in food and beverage production or a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Experience with packaging equipment, bagging operations, or finished product handling.
- Familiarity with food safety practices, product integrity standards, or sanitation expectations.
