Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Packaging Operator for a contract/temporary opportunity in Sabetha, KS. This role is ideal for someone with 1-2 years of manufacturing, production, or packaging experience who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced consumer packaged goods manufacturing environment.
As a Packaging Operator, you will support daily production by bagging finished product according to standard operating procedures and packaging specifications. This position offers the opportunity to work with a team-focused operation that values safety, consistency, quality, and respect among employees. Key Responsibilities
- Bag finished product according to facility SOPs and packaging specifications.
- Safely operate equipment associated with assigned packaging duties.
- Monitor packaging quality and report food safety or product integrity concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas through good housekeeping practices.
- Follow standard operating procedures and recommend revisions or improvements when appropriate.
- Communicate unsafe conditions or actions to the Production Supervisor or management team.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $16.00 to $17.00 per hour.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Familiarity with food safety practices, product integrity standards, and production housekeeping expectations.
