Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable Packaging Operator for a contract/temporary opportunity in Sabetha, KS. This role is ideal for someone with 1-2 years of manufacturing, production, or packaging experience who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced consumer packaged goods manufacturing environment.

As a Packaging Operator, you will support daily production by bagging finished product according to standard operating procedures and packaging specifications. This position offers the opportunity to work with a team-focused operation that values safety, consistency, quality, and respect among employees. Candidates who are dependable, flexible, and committed to doing the job safely and efficiently will be well positioned for success.

Key Responsibilities

- Bag finished product according to facility SOPs and packaging specifications.
- Safely operate equipment associated with assigned packaging duties.
- Monitor packaging quality and report food safety or product integrity concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas through good housekeeping practices.
- Follow standard operating procedures and recommend revisions or improvements when appropriate.
- Communicate unsafe conditions or actions to the Production Supervisor or management team.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay range: $16.00 to $17.00 per hour.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary.
