We are hiring a Packaging Associate - 2nd Shift for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Erlanger, KY. This role is ideal for a dependable, safety-conscious candidate who enjoys hands-on production work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
As a Packaging Associate, you will help keep packaging operations running smoothly by assembling corrugated boxes, checking quality, supplying packaging lines, and maintaining a clean, organized work area. This is a stable second-shift opportunity with a team-oriented environment, clear expectations, and supportive leadership focused on safety, quality, and consistent performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble corrugated boxes according to production and packaging requirements.
- Inspect boxes for quality, labeling accuracy, and structural integrity.
- Supply completed boxes to packaging lines efficiently to support production flow.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Follow safety, quality, hygiene, food safety, PPE, and dress code requirements.
- Report damaged materials, equipment concerns, or safety issues to supervision.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay Rate: $18.75 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.
- Job Type: Temp-to-hire.
- Location: Erlanger, KY 41018.
- Assemble and inspect corrugated boxes for production and packaging operations.
- Support packaging lines by supplying materials in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain GMP standards and follow safety, quality, and food safety procedures.
- Assist with packaging, production support, and facility cleaning duties as needed.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience preferred for this manufacturing and production role.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and twisting.
- Basic math and counting skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, safety-focused, and able to perform repetitive tasks consistently.
- Willingness to comply with required PPE, hygiene, and dress code standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, production, or packaging experience.
- Experience in food production, ingredient manufacturing, or a similar production environment.
- Familiarity with GMP standards, quality checks, and packaging line support.
