A direct hire opportunity is available for a Packaging Associate in Camarillo, CA within the consumer packaged goods manufacturing industry.
The Packaging Associate will support day-to-day production operations by packaging finished goods, inspecting products, maintaining a clean work area, and helping the team meet production goals. This is a strong opportunity for candidates with 1 to 2 years of manufacturing, production, warehouse, or packaging experience who are looking for stable work, supportive teamwork, and a path to continue building their production skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Package finished products according to production standards, quality requirements, and work instructions.
- Inspect products and packaging materials for accuracy, damage, cleanliness, and overall quality.
- Label, count, sort, and prepare packaged goods for the next stage of production or shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with manufacturing and safety procedures.
- Support production goals by working efficiently, following direction, and communicating issues to supervisors.
- Assist with basic material handling, line support, and other production duties as needed.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $17 per hour.
- Employment type: Direct hire.
- Location: Camarillo, CA.
- Package and prepare consumer packaged goods for production completion or shipment.
- Inspect products and packaging for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
- Follow production instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Support team productivity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in packaging, production, manufacturing, warehouse, or a related hands-on role.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks in a production environment.
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Team-oriented attitude with the ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in consumer packaged goods manufacturing, food production, cosmetics, nutraceuticals, or similar regulated production environments.
- Familiarity with labeling, packing, sorting, quality checks, or production line processes.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety practices in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
