We are seeking a dependable Packaging Associate for a temporary contract opportunity in St. Louis, MO. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on production work, staying active throughout the day, and contributing to a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing environment.
As a Packaging Associate, you will support daily packaging operations by placing bottles on conveyor lines, labeling products, packing finished goods, and checking items for quality. This is a great opportunity to build production and light assembly experience while working with a supportive team and clear supervision in a structured, safety-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Place bottles on conveyor lines and support manual assembly and packaging tasks.
- Check product codes, components, and packaging orders for accuracy.
- Label cases, cartons, and bags according to production requirements.
- Pack, stack, and organize finished products for shipment or storage.
- Inspect products for damage, defects, or quality concerns and report issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean work area while following all PPE, safety, and attendance requirements.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $17 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
- Job type: Temporary contract.
- Location: St. Louis, MO.
- Support production line packaging, labeling, and packing activities.
- Verify product codes, components, and packaging documentation.
- Inspect finished goods for quality and report damaged or nonconforming products.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 0 to 1 year of work experience required.
- Light assembly, packaging, warehouse, or manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Ability to stand for 8 to 9 hours per day.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to perform frequent bending and minimal climbing as needed.
- Ability to read and understand production documents, SDS information, and safety instructions.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required.
- Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and willingness to follow safety procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in light assembly, packaging, production, or manufacturing.
- Familiarity with conveyor line work, labeling, packing, or product inspection.
- Experience working in a safety-focused production environment.
