Position Highlights:
Work Shift: Must be available for an 8-hour shift between 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM EST
Pay Rate: $28–$30 per hour (competitive hourly compensation)
Assignment Duration: 3 month contract (possibility of extension)
Licenses: 2-15 Insurance License Required
We're looking for an Insurance Advisor to support employees in navigating and enrolling in a variety of benefit programs—including health insurance, supplemental coverage, and other offerings. In this role, you'll serve as a key point of contact, providing clear and accurate information, answering questions, and ensuring all activities align with compliance standards.
Excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding service to employees, client worksites, and internal teams are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities
• Provide excellent customer service to employees, and field partners through various communication mediums, including phone calls, inbound and outbound communications.
• Educating employees about their benefits, enrollment processes, and choices. Provides guidance to Worksite employee regarding benefit plans to ensure optimal customer service level.
• Researches and resolves product and service issues from internal partners, clients and worksite employees to ensure accurate and timely responses. Documents information and interactions in applicable system(s), ex. Client Space and Upstream, etc.
• Understands and references benefit documentation to ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations and laws, including Section 125.
• Maintains knowledge of all systems, processes and changes pertaining to various benefit plans, regulatory changes, policy changes, industry developments and internal resources to ensure compliance with departmental processes and company guidelines.
• Collaboration; Embrace a spirit of collaboration by being willing to share tasks, ideas, and responsibilities. Focus on leveraging each team member’s strengths and skills to achieve common goals and foster a sense of unity.
• Prepares and process basic benefit enrollments, changes, terminations and adjustments for PEO Benefit offerings to ensure timely processing for worksite employees while maintaining accurate and timely record of actions in CRM
• Participates in the annual enrollment process and training, education and follow up, as well as reviewing current process and changes. Ensures adherence to deadlines and compliance with PEO Benefits Rules of Engagement.
• Utilizes problem resolution and critical thinking techniques to assist customers, internal and external partners and makes recommendations to team and management.
• Provides professional communication in all interactions.
• Demonstrates strong prioritization and organizational skills.
• Meets all KPI’s through adherence to business schedules, responsiveness and SLA’s.
Education:
• High School Degree (Required)
• College Degree (Preferred)
