PAYROLL SPECIALIST

MUST-HAVES:

* Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll and accounts payables.
* Strong knowledge of union labor compliance, certified payroll reporting, and prevailing wage laws.
* Experience working with multiple unions and understanding of collective bargaining agreements.
* Proficient in construction accounting and payroll software (Ex. Viewpoint Vista, Foundation, Sage 100 Contractor, or similar).
* Experience with filing reports to DIR or LCP Tracker.



JOB DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
* Managing full-cycle accounts payables.
* Maintaining vendor records and ensure timely payments and accurate reconciliation.
* Processing multi-state weekly payroll for both union and non-union employees.
* Interpreting and applying union agreements (CBAs) to ensure payroll practices adhere to contract terms.
* Communicating with union representatives to resolve discrepancies and maintain compliance.
